A Practice for Everyday Life
Founded in 2003, A Practice for Everyday Life is a London-based design studio specializing in creative direction, design, and type. Led by Founding Directors Kirsty Carter and Emma Thomas, the studio is known for its research-driven approach and clarity of purpose. Their work spans brand identity, campaigns, digital and editorial design, and custom typography. Collaborations include global brands and cultural institutions such as Aesop, Birkenstock, JW Anderson, the V&A, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Carter and Thomas also serve as co-Presidents of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) UK Chapter.
