Visual Identity And Naming For Manchester’s Science And Innovation District

Pentagram created a visual identity and signage system for Sister, Manchester’s new science and innovation district developed by Bruntwood SciTech and The University of Manchester. Drawing inspiration from Alan Turing’s early computing work and the Manchester Code, the design features a custom monospaced typeface, dynamic line motifs, and modular patterns that reflect the district’s spirit of innovation and community.
