Menta created a brand identity for Pomerium, a French atelier in Provence focused on Mediterranean architecture, interiors, and landscaping for private residences. Rooted in the Roman idea of a sacred space “behind the wall,” the identity reflects the founder’s vision of a threshold between built form and lush nature. The wordmark references classical Roman letterforms with updated proportions, while the symbol merges arches with intertwined olive trees to express intimacy, harmony, and the relationship between interior and exterior. An earthy, mineral palette supports this concept, balancing warmth and coolness. Menta extended the identity through stationery and packaging, using tactile finishes such as black foil and letterpress to create a refined, sensory expression of the studio’s understated sophistication.
