Zlotan Speaks is an interactive digital oracle where a self-proclaimed football legend answers questions about the beautiful game with wit and swagger. Combining trivia, animation, and sound, the experience transforms football history into a mystical and humorous encounter with a living legend.

The core idea is an interactive oracle built around a self-proclaimed greatest-footballer-of-all-time character: users pick a category, ask a question, and get answers mixing real World Cup history with ego and humor.
The piece was made as a self-initiated Rive experiment for the $10K Rive Interactive Character Animation Challenge that Rive ran with Contra, with the character functioning as the interface rather than decoration on top of one.
Technically, the interaction lives in a Rive state machine: each tap advances the flow from category to question to answer, and the character reacts at every step; Figma was used upstream in the design process.
The content is organized around football trivia categories like Winners, Finals, Scorers, hosts, and famous finals, with page copy emphasizing that “winners, scorers, hosts, and famous finals all bow to his knowledge.”
Craft-wise, The Little Labs credited the work to Design, Rive Animation, Sound, and Concept, using original illustration, bold typography, a loud colour palette, and sound design to make the experience feel mystical and humorous.
