The Old Coal Yard is a carbon-positive ‘Dream Garage’ designed as both a home and workshop for a classic car collector. Built on a former coal yard, the project integrates solar panels, heat pumps, and a highly insulated envelope to generate more energy than it consumes. Its industrial-inspired design features anthracite metal cladding and dynamic trussed structures that celebrate engineering and sustainability.
