3d Brand World For En Voiture Simone
Why does a driving school look delightfully unhinged?
Socialclub Paris collaborated with Fromm Studio to create a distinctive 3D world for En Voiture Simone, a modern driving school redefining the learning-to-drive experience. The porcelain-inspired universe reflects Simone’s colorful, humorous, and slightly burlesque personality, making the brand instantly recognizable and engaging.
Insights- The core idea was to honor Simone Louise des Forest, not with a generic education brand, but with a rebellious, avant-garde identity that matched her legacy; CMO Maxime Morelli explicitly said, “We wanted to pay tribute to Simone... through a brand that truly embodies her rebellious and avant-garde spirit.”
- Socialclub Paris partnered with London-based Fromm Studio to build a full 3D brand world, using Fromm’s signature slightly misshapen porcelain characters to create a colorful, humorous, slightly burlesque universe.
- The brand concept reframed driving lessons away from a purely instructional tone, leaning into “madness, humor, and a touch of burlesque” to make En Voiture Simone instantly recognizable and more engaging.
- En Voiture Simone is an online driving school built around flexibility: students choose their own instructor, pay flat prices, and take lessons where they want, which makes the immersive brand world feel like a lifestyle product rather than a traditional school.
- The name itself references Simone Louise des Forest (1910–2004), a pioneering French racing driver and women’s motorsport campaigner, which explains the visual and tonal emphasis on independence, playfulness, and nonconformity.
