Architectural And Signage Design For Sámi Cultural Center Čoarvemátta

Snøhetta designed Čoarvemátta, a shared facility for the Sámi National Theater Beaivváš and the Sámi High School and Reindeer Herding School in Kautokeino, Norway. The project harmonizes with the surrounding plateau through natural materials, organic forms, and a deep connection to Sámi culture and craftsmanship. A cohesive signage and graphic system complements the architecture, emphasizing cultural authenticity and environmental sensitivity.
