Brand Identity And Packaging For Bubble Bob Ready-to-drink Bubble Tea
They didn’t design a drink—they invented a troublemaking mascot.
Redkroft created a bold, character-driven identity for Bubble Bob, a ready-to-drink bubble tea brand by Gladio Group. Centered around Bob—a mischievous mascot and logo in one—the design uses saturated colors, Asian pop influences, and playful copy to stand out in a crowded beverage category. The system extends across packaging, social media, and retail environments, making Bubble Bob instantly recognizable and full of energy.
Insights- Redkroft’s core move was to stop treating Bubble Bob like a standard beverage brand and build Bob as a mascot, logo, and “brand troublemaker” in one, which is the main idea behind the identity.
- The packaging leans into saturated colours, Asian-pop-inspired visuals, bold can graphics, and playful copy like “Sip it. Pop it. Blame Bob.”, “Next stop your mouth”, and “Move over Bob is coming.”
- The launch range included three flavours: Rich Peach, Merry Strawberry, and Mango Joy; the product was first intended for bars and restaurants, then expanded into major retail chains, vending machines, and international markets.
- The system wasn’t limited to cans — Redkroft also created brand strategy, verbal identity, visual communication guidelines, social media schemes, and motion design to keep Bob consistent across touchpoints.
- The work earned KTR 2025 recognition: Silver in Packaging / Drinks, Bronze in Brand Identity / Brand Identity System, plus a nomination in Brand Identity / Logo; Redkroft also claims a NAPA 2025 Silver, though that wasn’t independently confirmed.
