A Youth-led Awareness Platform For Online Sexual Abuse Prevention

Hear The Youth created WTFFF!? to help young people facing online sexual abuse, including sextortion, grooming, and unwanted sexting. Using research, co-creation, and user testing with teenagers, Hear The Youth developed the project through direct dialogue with youth to ensure the tone and format felt relevant and safe. The art direction was shaped by 14-year-old boys, and testing took place in real environments such as a local skatepark. The result was a campaign and digital platform designed to reduce stigma, guilt, and fear around seeking help. WTFFF!? achieved strong impact, with average engagement of more than 10 minutes and over one million young people reached.
