Website Design For Zamaya Resort
The booking flow is the entire website—by design.
ESPINA Studio created a personalized digital experience for Zamaya, an exclusive fitness resort in Tulum. The website emphasizes a seamless booking process, allowing guests to customize training, meals, and accommodations while reflecting the resort’s vibrant yet refined aesthetic inspired by Mayan art and the waters of Tulum.
Insights- ESPINA Studio turned Zamaya’s biggest challenge into the core experience: the booking flow lets guests customize training, meals, and accommodations in one path, matching the resort’s “no fixed programme” model. The case tagline sums it up: “Multiple Paths, One Location.”
- The visual system is deliberately restrained: editorial, minimalist, and neutral, with one bright blue accent pulled from Mayan art and the waters of Tulum to signal the brand inside an otherwise calm layout.
- Zamaya is a high-end fitness resort in Tulum founded and developed by Dave Foran, a former professional rugby player. It’s positioned for athletes and fitness enthusiasts, including Olympic competitors, and includes 48 hotel suites plus 24 three-bedroom villas.
- Beyond booking, the site supports the property’s broader ecosystem with an online shop, dedicated trainer and exercise sections, and amenities content—helping the website function like a personalized resort platform rather than a brochure.
- The project’s credit list is unusually development-heavy, which fits the product challenge: seven of fourteen credited team members were involved in engineering or delivery, underscoring that the hard part was building a configurator, not just a layout.
