Dinamo digitally revived Karlgeorg Hoefer’s 1964 typeface P3rman3nt, originally released by Ludwig & Mayer. The project began after discovering the original specimen in an Estonian library and culminated in a refined, faithful digitization completed in Berlin.
The Brand Identity interviews German type designer Erkin Karamemet about his six-year journey developing Repro, a sans serif typeface released with Swiss foundry Dinamo. Karamemet discusses the technical and conceptual evolution of Repro, including its unique circle function and hybrid geometric-humanist design.
