Studio Bruch developed the branding for Zum Hirschen, a long-established family hotel in Salzburg reimagined by Katharina Wallmann and her husband. The project aligned the brand with the hotel’s contemporary architecture, natural materials, curated art, vegetarian cuisine, and urban positioning. Studio Bruch translated the traditional stag symbol into a more feminine, playful mask motif and created a custom typeface inspired by antlers, branches, and the garden. The system extended across signage, room cards, illustrations, and even furniture details, ensuring close dialogue between interior design and brand expression. The result presents the hotel as modern, welcoming, and distinctive while avoiding Salzburg clichés and honoring its long history.
