Self Modern is one of the most elegant typefaces around. I wanted to give it slightly different energy with some compression.
I have never had trouble with motivation. I have worked independently for a long time and early on I set rules around my working day, so it all flows pretty naturally.
One thing I have been doing in isolation is rotating hats. I might go through 4-5 hats a day; sometimes a cap, sometimes a bucket, sometimes a beanie… this changes with my mood.
I’ve always enjoyed suburban pizza shop signage and messaging, so I put my own spin on this.
I’m really interested in the simplicity of everyday messaging and thinking about the way people and businesses communicate with their public.
