We’re the first generation to grow up with video games. They exist for us now in the same way that books, music, film, fashion and art have done in the past, as a core element of the media spectrum.
Reset exists to explore this space. To investigate video games’ position in a broad cultural context and to platform a dialogue that is less insular than how video games have been documented in the past.
We believe games are an art form in the same way music, art, architecture and fashion are.
Hunting achievements on the website will feel familiar to anyone who loves games.
Kepler Interactive’s creative director Simon Sweeney has launched Reset Magazine, a biannual gaming publication that treats video games as a serious cultural art form. Designed with influences from fashion and art magazines, the first issue features Monument Grotesk and experimental typefaces, VR-based visuals, and a striking blue palette inspired by computer error screens. The project aims to elevate gaming journalism into a collectible design object.
Kepler Interactive and fashion designer Robyn Lynch have collaborated on a limited-edition clothing collection inspired by the publisher’s games and brand visuals. The project merges gaming culture with fashion through workshops, garment experimentation, and a nostalgic 90s-inspired lookbook. A gamified website allows fans to win pieces from the collection and lifetime access to Kepler’s games.
