The design merges the industrial geometry we associate with those breweries with the irregular, organic forms of ginger.
We worked with layered gradients, soft irregular silhouettes and subtle grain textures to evoke fluidity.
It felt like the perfect match: geometric at its core, but with subtle twisted details that break from strict geometry.
Gradients were introduced to create a sense of movement and heat, echoing the way ginger’s flavor builds and lingers.
Creative Boom’s Boom Brief #7 challenged designers to brand a fictional florist, Petal & Stem, founded on friendship and seasonal British flowers. Designers from around the world responded with inventive identities exploring embroidery, pixel art, typographic play, and folk craft. The feature highlights standout entries from Josefine Jälmevik, Srishti Arora, Kate Ross, Lancelot Bercot-Duflos, Satvir Sihota, Leyma Design, and Laura Sásdi.
Leyma, a Basque Country design studio, created a bold brand identity for TAM, a fermented ginger beer. The design merges industrial geometry with organic forms inspired by ginger, using gradients, textures, and the variable typeface Hariki to express both craft precision and natural energy. Each flavor variant features its own color palette, resulting in a cohesive yet dynamic system that reflects TAM’s fiery personality.
