In their own words
It was a real constraint at first, in the sense that we almost never work this way.
By immersing ourselves in Glénat's immense heritage, we were able to tame this logo and consider it as part of the publisher's heritage.
The graphic simplicity of the new identity allows it to transcend time and move away from ephemeral trend effects.
Typefaces made to provoke surprise, break new ground and draw new contours.
We wanted the identity to inspire a particular vibration, rather than simply convey a message.
We firmly believe in the power of typography to convey everything that shapes an entity.
This rhythmic pattern offered an interesting tension between refinement and brutalism.
LL Riforma remains ultra-dominant in the graphic territory. It embodies rigour, precision and structure.
Panama comes in support, and brings light touches of lyricism to the typographic compositions.
We chose to complement them with a bright red and yellow, which combined with black, recalling the Germanic origins of the name Rosamund.
