We set out to create an identity that would inspire students while embodying the institute’s core philosophy: to reform, rethink and reshape.
It took many iterations to strike the right balance between legibility and playfulness – making sure the form could still hold together as a recognisable shape while allowing for a sense of looseness and transformation.
It’s always challenging to redesign something that already works well.
A challenging design task often yields the best results.
The new brand challenges the perceptions of wellness facilities as exclusive and Nordic design as cold.
Allas is a renowned destination in Helsinki that’s close to our hearts, so we were thrilled to help them bring their urban waterfront movement to new audiences beyond Finland.
The tone of the brand is rooted in emotion; it reflects passion, unity, and pride.
The scarf plays a key role here; it brings people together, both physically and symbolically.
The goal wasn’t to get stuck in the past, but to create something relevant to younger, digitally savvy fans.
The updated symbol keeps the essence of the original design – a fan holding a scarf – but it’s been modernised into a more abstract and simplified form.

Collaborations with Evermade and Taiste supported the website and app development, while Studio Feixen’s Ease typeface reinforced the brand’s organic, water-inspired aesthetic.

Helsinki-based studio Bond has rebranded Finland’s top football league, Veikkausliiga, centering the identity on fan culture through a bespoke typeface named Scarf Gothic. Inspired by the movement and folding of football scarves, the design captures the emotional highs and lows of the sport while appealing to a younger, digital audience. The project balances geometric precision with expressive energy, uniting fans and teams under a modern, flexible visual system.

BOND has rebranded Finland’s top football league, Veikkausliiga, with a design centred on the iconic fan scarf. The refreshed identity modernises the league’s heritage symbol into a geometric, adaptable logo and introduces a custom typeface, Scarf Gothic, inspired by the texture and movement of a scarf. The rebrand aims to connect tradition with a new generation of fans through bold colour and digital versatility.
