M — N Associates created a contemporary rebrand for Bát Tràng Museum, the first private museum authorized in Bát Tràng Village and founded by artist Vũ Đức Thắng. The studio developed a new name, a custom typeface inspired by his pottery techniques and “pottery-shoes-soul” details, and a visual system rooted in ceramic forms, silhouettes, and the museum’s three-part floor plan. A simplified palette and clean photography style were used to foreground the texture, color, and authenticity of the artworks. The system extended across icons, wayfinding, digital applications, posters, the website, and merchandise, helping the museum present its legacy in a more structured and contemporary way while preserving its cultural heritage.
