Art direction and album packaging for a music label

Agora by The Collected Works

Art Direction And Album Packaging For A Music Label

The Collected Works developed art direction and packaging for Agora in support of “Good Man,” a deeply personal audio memoir by Miles Francis. The concept explores the artist’s duality, reconciling masculinity and femininity inherited from family, and channels those tensions into a cohesive design system. A monochrome palette foregrounds photography as a lens into Francis’ vision, while fluctuating typefaces—sharp to elegant—mirror the work’s oscillating moods. Custom iconography floats around lyrics to depict separation, intersection, and individuality. The front cover fuses masculine and feminine cues, and the full suite extends across print and motion, creating a gothic, pleasantly uncomfortable atmosphere with a David Byrne–esque funkiness. The Collected Works delivered creative direction across branding, motion, and 3D to unify the release.

Book design for a digital product agency

Work And Co by Order Design

Book Design For A Digital Product Agency

Order created a nearly 800-page monograph for Work & Co that captures the agency’s legacy, process, and outcomes. The editorial system gives design and technology equal hierarchy, reflecting the firm’s integrated approach. Typography draws from brand styles, pairing Helvetica Neue for headlines with IBM Plex Mono for captions and credits, applied through a neutral lens. The cover reduces the name to an initial in signature red, echoed by a protective mailer that previews the book. Content is organized into Foreword, Work, Spaces, and Company, using elements like the double-star endmark and graphic-scale statements. Project spreads begin with context and solution, then reveal outcomes and process, with hidden footer URLs linking to archived builds. A consistent spread system accommodates varied industries and years, highlighting evolution while maintaining clarity and cohesion.

Tom Lloyd by Base Design

Digital Companion Microsite For Studio Museum In Harlem

Base Design created a digital companion microsite for the Studio Museum in Harlem’s Tom Lloyd exhibition. The thematic digital experience translates Lloyd’s rhythm and invention into interactive moments that enrich the visit in-gallery while extending the show’s reach beyond Harlem. Designed as a hybrid layer to the exhibition, the site preserves the artist’s spirit of innovation and provides contextual materials that deepen understanding before, during, and after a visit. The project focused on digital execution and content structure to support exploration without replacing the physical encounter.

Brand identity for a boutique SaaS conference

Saastanak by Size

Brand Identity For A Boutique Saas Conference

Studio Size developed the brand for SaaStanak, a boutique SaaS conference on the Mediterranean coast, translating its relaxed, open atmosphere into every touchpoint. The identity centers on a bold modernist symbol influenced by the region’s socialist-era visual culture. A color palette blends warm destination tones with confident digital blues, while typography pairs a clean software-style sans with a serif inspired by retro IT and lifestyle aesthetics. The resulting design system is flexible, structured, and lifestyle-driven, setting the conference apart from typical SaaS events. Studio Size defined a dual-type setup, clear hierarchy, and adaptable components to ensure clarity, recognition, and consistency across applications.
